First letter to Senator Rubio

Please find enclosed a copy of an e-mail I sent to you and your response.

Rep. Daniel Webster has decided to match my challenge of contributing 1% of his income to the reduction of the Nation debt. Not only that, he has gotten his staff to do the same-I received a call from Elizabeth in his office today.

I have enclosed my check for this week made out to the US Treasury for $5.00. Please forward it to the necessary location.

As I told Rep. Webster, when my tax returns are filed, I will make up the remainder of the balance I have promised to donate.

I am now making the same challenge to you. Donate 1% of you salary to the direct reduction of the National debt and get you colleagues in the Senate to do the same.

I look forward to hearing a rapid response and acceptance to my challenge.
